Cut-out wall print test in Hadera featuring a coffee cup and droplets over approximately 2.5 m², with no rectangular background and a machine-on-rails test.
Total time: machine setup, printing and dismantling included.
As part of our technical testing in Hadera, we created a graphic composition featuring a coffee cup surrounded by projected droplets.
The main purpose of this test was to experiment with a cut-out printing technique. Unlike a conventional image printed within a rectangular format, only the individual design elements are printed. The areas around and between them remain empty, allowing the existing surface to become an integral part of the composition.
Before
AfterThe design was printed onto a paper support fixed to the wall in order to test this technique before using it on future projects.
The test also included an additional technical element: the printing machine operated on rails rather than wheels, allowing us to evaluate this method of movement during printing. The finished composition covers approximately 2.5 m², and the complete test was carried out in around 2 hours.
This was not a client project. It formed part of WallPrint Signature’s internal testing programme, designed to explore different printing methods, surfaces and technical configurations.
Send a photo of the wall, its dimensions and your idea. The studio composes the design; we print it directly on your wall.
